One major goal of the Lewis & Clark Bicentennial Commission is to provide various training and education opportunities related to the Expedition for Montanans and visitors alike. Through offering special courses, academics, lectures and even new educational curriculums, Montanans and visitors can obtain a pertinent, accurate and inclusive Lewis & Clark-related education. The following is a list of various education opportunities that can be accessed by almost anyone from first-time Expedition visitors to the more avid Lewis & Clark enthusiasts.

Visitor Services Training
Training geared toward educating Montana individuals, businesses, communities, and agencies for effectively preparing for, and hosting visitors from now through the Bicentennial. This section includes information on the new 22-minute video, "Lewis & Clark: The Montana Story" developed by Travel Montana SUPERHOST! Courses such as interpretation, community planning and event planning are examples of training listed in this category.

Professional Development
This area includes courses for professional development and college credit, as well as other education opportunities.

Lewis & Clark Curriculums
This is a list of suggested Lewis & Clark curriculums and training guides for teachers and/or program leaders.

Personal Development
Listed here are education programs for personally enhancing a person's knowledge about the Expedition such as lectures and Elderhostels.
