Description This musical performance is as beautiful and bold as the adventure it recreates. Relive the epic Lewis & Clark Expediton of 1804 in song, story and imagery as the Corps of Discovery travels more than 8,000 miles - from St. Louis to the Pacific Ocean - in search of the fabled northwest passage. Discover the true meaning of courage as Thomas Jefferson's exploratory team hauls their cumbersome keelboat up the Missouri River and past its thunderous Great Falls, then traverses the Rocky Mountains and follows the Columbia River to the sea. Along the way, David's musical tales and historical imagery explore the personal struggles of such mythic figures and Lewis, Clark, Sacagawea, York and others. Celebrate their sucess in reaching the Pacific Ocean, and ride the swell of adventure as the Missouri River rolls you back home. History never sounded so good!

Singer/songwriter David Walburn has written and produced three musical multi-media performances and released three independent albums. He has toured extensively across the Northwest performing for art councils, conferences, school assemblies and special events. He has recently been sponsored by the Idaho Dairy Council to perform "West for America" for Idaho Public Schools. He is currently contracted with Glacier Park Inc. to perform his multi-media shows during the summer seasons at the historic Many Glacier Lodge.
