Tour Guides and Tour Companies

Tour Guides
A "Step-On" Guide, or a guide who accompanies a small group on a tour, is perfect for individuals and groups interested in discussing the Expedition while stepping in Lewis & Clark's footsteps. Experienced and knowledgeable Montanans, available as Lewis and Clark guides, are listed here with contact information, costs, and descriptions of the services they offer. Tour companies and visiting groups are encouraged to use this resource list to arrange local guides for tours traveling through Montana.

Tour Companies
For those groups interested in a longer adventure along the trail, in search of transportation, activities, and lodging, a tour company is the answer. The tour companies listed here offer a variety of adventures on land and water, both educational and fun. Their contact information, costs, and descriptions of tours are given.

Please Note: Businesses, organizations, school groups, commercial tour operators or film makers who visit or use public lands administered by the USDA Forest Service for organized and/or commercial purposes MAY need to obtain a special use permit.
