Traveling Trunks

The Expedition
These Traveling Trunks are a great way for your group or class to learn about many aspects of the Expedition. Featured in these trunks is information about the people of the expedition, the places they traveled, and the stories they came home to tell. Included in the trunks are replicas of Expedition equipment, clothing, tools, etc., and/or supporting resource documentation. Some trunks are accompanied by a qualified presenter; others are available on a loaned basis. Additionally, some trunks include games and pertinent handouts.

Natural History
These Traveling Trunks concentrate on the plants and animals Lewis & Clark and their men saw and chronicalled in different parts of the state. Also included are trunks about the birds of Montana and the geography of Montana. These trunks have examples of these specimens and are very informative for where they were found and what they were named. Some trunks are accompanied by a qualified presenter; others are available on a loaned basis. Additionally, some trunks include games and pertinent handouts.

Montana's First People
These Traveling Trunks concentrate on the lifeways of Montana's First People around the time of the Lewis & Clark Expedition.
